Ron Hedrick | Biography
Ron Hedrick has been referred to as a colorist, illuminist and impressionist,
but none of this is limiting or defining to him. His choice of subject
matter is based on the opportunity to capture fleeting light as
well as to play with the subtleties of both luminosity and color.
The beautiful landscapes that surround his rural studio allow him
immediate access to do what he is most passionate about, which is
painting on location. He also enjoys painting still life or models
in his " Stave Falls Studio " located in rural Mission
British Columbia. His most popular works are beach scenes, garden
scenes and snow seasons depicting people in nostalgic situations.
His work reaches far and wide and is handled by galleries throughout
Canada and the U.S.A. and is in many cooperate collections. He is
the founding member and co-president of the Stave Falls Artist Group
( See Website ) and teaches weekly classes at the Stave Falls Art
Studio.
